The star wore a cooling linen shirt for the good old fashioned summer fun.

The One Show star Alex Jones shared some gorgeous summer snaps to Instagram this week, showing her taking her young family for a paddle in a picturesque stream.

Alex and husband Charlie Thompson share sons Teddy (5) and Kit(3), as well as baby Annie who's about to turn one on the 21 August, though sadly doesn't make an appearance in these happy splashy paddling pics.

Swiping through the snaps we see a beaming Alex with one of her boys, keeping cool wearing a casual blue linen shirt and denim shorts, paired with classic tortoise shell sunglasses.

We can see more of the gorgeous scenery in the second snap, which shows husband Charlie with his shoes off, cooling his feet in the water. Followed by a third photo featuring more bare feet from Alex and little Kit.

It's not the first time they've hit the water this summer, with a fabulous day of family kayaking and water activities earlier this year.

Plus the family recently got back from a trip to Greece, with snaps of the boys wearing their arm bands at the beach, it seems the little ones are fans of the water at home and away.
