Summer is wrapping up, but there's still plenty of time to enjoy all this gorgeous weather. And Blake Lively certainly knows the deal, because she’s hanging out poolside in a stunning little bikini, soaking up every last bit of this August sunshine.
Blake casually dropped a pic on Instagram of herself posing by a pool packed with toys. In the photo, the actress is working a cool, white, short-sleeve bikini, six-pack abs, and super strong legs, along with her famous sparkling smile. BTW: It's her birthday (HBD, Blake!!!).
“☀️Summer lovin’ …had me a blast,” she wrote in the caption.
Blake's followers and fans were definitely noticing how fit the 35-year-old is in the photo. “With a body like that I’d have a blast all year round 😉🔥🔥🔥❤️,” said jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. “Ok smoke show 🔥,” said Blake’s sister, actress Robyn Lively. Blake's husband, Ryan Reynolds, also took a moment to make a confusing inside joke: "Wrexham is the Ibiza of Wales," he commented, referencing the soccer team he co-owns.
Over the years, Blake has been open about working hard to get strong after giving birth to each of her three children, James, Inez, and Betty. And she’s been logging some serious sweat seshes with trainer Don Saladino for years, and even gave him a sweet shoutout back in 2018 for helping her get back in fighting shape after childbirth.
“Thanks @donsaladino for kickin my A double S into shape. 10 months to gain, 14 months to lose. Feeling very proud 💪😁💪," she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Saladino.
Saladino told Women’s Health UK that he likes his clients to focus on an exercise plan they can maintain. “Every single person who does my program day in, day out finds their bodies change for the long haul,” he said. “It’s not a case of weight loss that you gain back. These are long-term, attainable changes and they work.”
Saladino also shared details of his workouts with Blake with Harper’s Bazaar Australia, and they’re clearly not screwing around. The workouts sound intense AF.
Blake gets things going with yoga stretches (this queen knows stretching is an important step to prevent injuries!) before heading into circuits. These circuits can include everything from push-ups, broad jumps, farmer’s carries, and dumbbell work, to squats and rows. And sometimes she’ll do 30 minutes of swimming workouts, too.
