A new leak purports to reveal upcoming "summer" skins for Thor, Iron Man and Black Widow, putting them in stylish, revealing swimsuits.
A new leak reportedly reveals three new summer skins for Marvel's Avengers Thor, Black Widow and Iron Man, putting the ironic heroes in stylish swimwear.
According to Miller, a Marvel's Avengers leaker with a near-perfect track record, the Crystal Dynamics game plans to unveil new summer-themed skins for three of its heroes in the coming weeks. Black Widow's bikini features hardly any material, mostly comprised of her strapped-on gun and other weaponry. Thor wears bright blue swim trunks, an intricate gold belt and short gauntlets on his wrists. Perhaps the hardest one to pull off given his suit, Tony Stark forgoes the usual armor for a mostly gold shorts, t-shirt and open button-up ensemble with gloves and flip-flops that appear powered up like his standard suit. In all cases, the skins are topped off with stylish shades.

Over the last year or so, Marvel's Avengers' updates have primarily pertained to adding new cosmetic upgrades to the game, such as these leaked skins. This might pertain to Crystal Dynamic's decision to change its roadmap for Marvel's Avengers. The developer decided to either forgo it altogether or alter it substantially to focus on bite-sized content releases rather than massive updates as initially planned, such as adding a new hero every month.
This hasn't stopped the company from adding more significant updates as well. It recently introduced Jane Foster's Mighty Thor as part of the promotion for the character's live-action debut in Thor: Love and Thunder. Patch 2.5 also brought the Multiverse to Marvel's Avengers, as this Jane isn't the same one from the game's current timeline. Instead, this Jane became the Mighty Thor, eventually making a deal with Loki to kill Odin after the Allfather went mad and started destroying Asgard. When she reneged on her part of the transaction, Loki sent her away into the timeline of Marvel's Avengers, thereby allowing the existence of two Thors.

Miller previously revealed Marvel's Avengers plans for Mighty Thor, noting that she'd been moved up to coincide with the release of the latest film and taking the place of She-Hulk, a character he'd also leaked plans for. Crystal Dynamics' intentions to add She-Hulk were seemingly confirmed during a recent Xbox live stream. At this time, she isn't expected to launch in the game until sometime around the release of her eponymous series on Disney+.
Marvel's Avengers is available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
